Project Description: As part of this project, we have created an application in which it gathers the information from various sources and load the data into data warehouse. It pulls the data from different-different sources and store in a centralized data warehouse in SCD type-2 fashion. It stored the entire US vehicle and owner information with sales of vehicle throughout the year along with dealer/vehicle information, selling happened across the region. It has various layers in the application. Once the enriched data is loaded to centralized system, we do also send the data to various vendors as part of outbound process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
End to end project handling- requirement gathering, design & deployment.
Data warehousing using ETL tool Informatica Power Center.
Analyse current ETL process, define and design new systems.
Coordinated with team, leading with team and submitting the day-by-day activity to client.

EDO (Enterprise data officer) gives us the set of rules or business logic which are based on the profile which is being done on the source system which are identified on enterprise level, which would help them to take correct decision in order to improve overall quality of data. Which in turn will reduces cost or amount of time spent on data transformation.
The business logics are applied with the help of IDQ tool where we develop mappings, mapplets, rules, Workflow. With the help of Analyst tool, they can have access for the anomalies which are stored in a centralized table.

As part of DWH/data governance project, a dedicated data flow architecture has been proposed to govern the complete Hudson data which helps business to manage the data in more appropriate method by using ETL logics and MDM processes. Also, data governance helps Hudson to maintain the data catalog which becomes a key for any business within organization.
